Dave Kurtz is a Pennsylvania native and graduate of the United States Naval Academy. A 30-year career Naval Flight Officer, he attended Navy Nuclear Power School, served as Executive Officer of USS NIMITZ, Commanding Officer of “The Scorpions” of Electronic Attack Squadron 132 and USS SOMERSET, and most recently as Chief of Staff to the Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command.
Dave has extensive experience in training and education, having served as an instructor for years, leading the modernization of Naval Aviation training, and owns his own consulting and coaching business. As President of BuildNow, he intends to put this extensive experience to work changing veterans’ lives through applying the technical and leadership skills they acquired in service to the nation.
